South Carolina U.S. Attorney Announces Federal Indictments for Fraud, Embezzlement and Theft
The South Carolina U.S. Attorney announced on November 16, 2010 several Federal Indictments for Fraud, Embezzlement, Theft and False Statements.
Tina Sorrenti, a West Columbia, SC woman, was charged with making a false statement in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1001.
Barry Cheek, a Lexington, SC man, was charged by the federal grand jury with embezzlement and false statements in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 641 and 1001.
Anthony Robertson, Yolanda Hill, and Dexter Coleman, all of Winnsboro, SC, were charged with criminal conspiracy to commit fraud using unauthorized access devices, theft, and destruction of mail in connection with an identity theft scheme. They were charged with violations of 18 U.S.C. §§ 1029 and 1708.
